The official name for Disney’s new streaming service is “Disney+” and it is expected to be available sometime in 2019. There are no other details on the services cost just yet. Let’s hope that Disney gives everyone a break as the number of paid streaming services increases, and people have to pick and choose what they want and what they can do with out.
The streaming service will also include Marvel movies that are already released. Captain Marvel will be the first Marvel Studios movie to be available on the platform after the home video release.
News about Marvel content on the streaming service, so far there is apparently a “Loki” Series in development with Tom Hiddleston. Also a Scarlet Witch series coming to the service with Elizabeth Olsen reprising her role as Wanda. Other reports suggest that Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan are also in talks to reprise their roles as Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barns/Winter Soldier in a limited series. The series are supposed to tell stories that can’t be told in the movies while also adding layers to the characters.
