Explosion at a New York power plant, makes sky neon blue!

At around 9pm in New York, the sky turned bright blue. Photos emerged on Twitter as people try to find out what’s going on.

Apperently a transformer explosion at the ConEd plant in Astoria is causing the sky to turn blue.

No other reports on this at the moment.

Update

There are no reported injuries, and it seems that first responders and emergency crews was able to get the situation under control with damage only localized in one isolated area.
