CW’s Long Running Supernatural Drama “Supernatural” Is Ending

After 15 seasons the long-running supernatural drama is coming to an end.

Executive producers Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer released a statement after news came about that the CW drama series will be ending after its 15th season.

“Firstly, we would like to thank all the people who have been involved with the show both in front and behind the camera. For us, it has been an experience of a lifetime. The support we have had from both Warner Bros Television and the CW has been incredible. We’d like to give special thanks to Jensen, Jared, and Misha for making this journey so special. It is not most important to us to give these characters that we love the send-off they deserve.”

Supernatural is the longest running supernatural, sci-fi/ drama series in the history of American broadcast television. When season 15 ends the show will have had 327 aired episodes.

Supernatural also predates The CW itself, the show had launched on the WB network back in 2005 and is the only surviving show from that era. The show also evolved with the dramatic change in technology such as cell phones and computers.

After 15 seasons were glad the show is ending on a good note.
