Will Apple TV Plus and Disney Plus Be Enough To Ditch Netflix

Apple just unveiled its latest gadgets at today’s keynote. With the unveiling, they have also provided more details on their new streaming service Apple TV Plus.

The streaming service will launch with a host of exclusive original Apple TV Plus shows, all ad-free and on-demand for only $4.99 per month. With the first 7 days free trial. On top of that, if you buy any new device you will receive a free 1-year subscription to Apple TV plus. Apple TV plus will launch on November 1st.

Disney’s new streaming service Disney Plus will launch 12 days later with a price tag of $5.99. Disney will already have a full host of original programming including Marvel and Star Wars shows already being filmed, including movies.

Will having Apple TV Plus and Disney Plus be enough to cancel your Netflix subscription? At least till season 4 of Stranger Things right?

The problem right now is that Netflix is still the most expensive on demand streaming service on the market and that’s without the 4K add on. While services like Amazon Video, Disney Plus, and Apple TV Plus will offer 4K streaming at no additional charge and have better multi TV streaming amenities than Netflix.

Apple TV was one of the first digital streaming systems on the market, so they sill have a large customer base. With the added TV shows with the service, it may be enough to sway new customers away from Netflix increasing price tag.

Will you be subscribing to Apple TV plus, let me know on twitter. BloggsGq
