Official Eternals Synopsis Has Been Released

Marvel Studios and Disney have released a preview of their complete 2020 film slate. This included a newly expanded synopsis of November’s Eternals that ties the events of the film directly to Avengers: Endgame and also indicates it will be using some elements from the Neil Gaiman 2008 limited comic book series.

In the earlier phases of the films development it was implied that the film will take place during two parts in time past and present. It seems that now the film will most likely take place after the events of Avengers Endgame.

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, and unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.,

The Eternals and the Deviants have an ongoing feud in the comics with the Deviants only wanting to gain control of Earth by placing themselves in places of power by posing as humans. Both the Deviants and the Eternals have been living on earth in the MCU for thousands of years.
